Beginning her career in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida in 2000, Abby has found her passion in giving through her art with hair. 

Abby is proud to be a Redken Certified Haircolorist. After rigorous testing in three areas including, hands on technique, product knowledge, and situational color correction, Abby successfully earned this acheivement.  She was one of the first 400 hairstylists in the world to receive this prestigious title.

Abby has also been a Redken Artist. In early 2006 she auditioned and was accepted as a Redken Artist. As a Redken Artist Abby attended two Redken Artist Connection (RAC) training events annually. She is also well equiped with the most up to date trends, the newest haircare products, and the latest hair cutting and coloring techniques. As a  Redken Artist she has had the opportunity to share her experiences in learning with other stylists. She represented Redken facilitating both color and business classes. Abby loves working with people so facilitating classes for Redken gave her the opportunity to work with people from all over the world.

In February of 2010,  Abby had to take a break as a Redken Artist to focus on her two little ones at home, Brenna Noelle and Owen Adaire (only 15 months apart).  She was also in demand locally and needed to spend more time behind the chair.  

In Novemember of 2011 Abby finally had her dream of 12 years come true!  She opened A. Anderson Hair and Associates.  Abby was  proud to have a salon of her own and to have such a great team of professionals to work with.  It was her goal to provide a professional, upscale yet comfortable environment for other stylists to work in.  After over 12 years of success, friendships and beautiful hair Abby decided to close the salon and relocate to a beautiful more serene salonscape which is The Chalet Hair Salon.

In January 2024 A. Anderson Hair at The Chalet was born.  It is a co-op of talented women most from the original salon.  We are now located in a beautifully restored 1970's "chalet" style home located in the heart of Brandon.  You will love the lish landscaping and homey vibe at our new location!
